![]() It’s overall worthy of being called a masterpiece!Īlso I’m not completely sure guys, but I think the lead director likes minigames. (Also there's Deponia Doomsday which continues after this trilogy). The ending felt bitter sweet and anti-climactic, however this doesn’t ignore the fact that the rest of the game sucked, which it surely didn’t. ![]() Without him though there would be no wild adventure and….saving the world I guess, again. Deponia: The Complete Journey features over 4 hours of Developers Commentary, a Deponia world map that allows for selection of each chapter of the game, a comprehensive graphical questlog help system, minigame help screens, a new launch menu, new hidden collectables, Linux support, plus 6 new songs written and sung by Poki and Behind-the. The game tries its best to make us hate him for every screwed up action he makes and that’s because well….it’s Rufus I guess, lol. ![]() I’ll be honest, I’m not really a fan, neither am I great at puzzles which frankly speaking, some of the combinations made very little if no sense at all, then again we’re playing as Rufus, one of the worst innocent human beings known to man. Its things like these that make point and click games feel so alive and Deponia trilogy did its best at it. I must also mention the great amount of art and animated objects in every room, plus the animated scenes. What makes it great is not only the amount of possible “right” choices but also wrong choices and combinations which triggered the voiced reply of your character for this specific choice you’ve made. I've played a lot 2D point and click games in the past, but this one was far the biggest I’ve encountered!Įven though this is a trilogy which is technically 3 games glued together, each of them had a lot going on and I do mean a LOT of interactions. Because I like to spend my time on interesting characters and stories, unraveling mysteries, following clues and exercising my deduction and not just clicking on every pixel on my screen just to stop the torture. Overall, I truly don't understand why so many people like and recommended this series. To finish the game you should help this degenerate in his stupid quest. Main character just insufferable piece of human garbage and I didn't want him succeed! But unfortunately for me there is no chose. Deponia: The Complete Journey has a separate entry in Steam, its a new product and therefore considered a game on its own. If you're experiencing this issue, please contact us via support form and we'll be glad to help you out. But next two just stop even try to pretend that there is any story. Unfortunately, the installation data of 'Deponia: The Complete Journey' retail version can't be read by the latest Mac OS X Sierra 10.10.5. What fun is that?!! I really want to see a person who was able to finish these games without any help from online walkthroughs!įirst game was OK with the plot, even with nonsensical puzzles there was motivation to try. Games suffer typical for click-and-point adventures flaw - puzzles don't follow any logic, there are no clues and all that left for the player is just methodically clicking everywhere and trying to combine everything with everything. And this is unfortunate because this game doesn't deserve such efforts. It is obvious that a lot of good work and care were put into it. I love art style and sound design in these games.
